The government affairs practice of Government Insight Group (GIG) was formed in 2005 when Paul Trane brought together personnel with over 30 years of experience to form what one publication called a “one stop shopping for lobbying and government affairs.” Today, Mr. Trane serves as GIG’s Honorary Chief Inspiration Officer and the GIG practice is managed by Joseph Capuano, who has been active in government and politics for many years. Mr. Capuano is a former staffer for Governor Deval Patrick and has worked on many political campaigns, including those of his father, Congressman Michael Capuano (D-MA-8th).
